Our estate

We cultivate 15.5 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc vines for Pouilly Fumé.

It is in the typical family spirit of the historical estates of the vineyard that we work our soils and produce our wines.

The photo below illustrates this spirit, as for several years now, and with the support of my parents, I represent the eighth generation of winemakers in the family.

It is with the same commitments that have been theirs since the creation of the estate that I found it natural to engage in the certification of our vineyard as High Environmental Value since 2019.

A LEGACY TO PASS ON

Sustainability is a keyword for us.

Our philosophy is to preserve the legacy of our ancestors, namely the quality and diversity of our terroirs, so that we can pass them on to our children. This quest for sustainability has led us, for more than 30 years, to protect the biological diversity of our soils. Depending on the plots, we either grass the vine rows or use the plow and intervine plows to remove unwanted weeds.

By regularly touring all our plots several times a week, we carefully consider our phytosanitary interventions to reduce their impact on the environment. This reasoned approach to vineyard work promotes the protection of the plant and terroir, and allows us to produce higher quality grapes. Our motto : Tradition & Progress. We combine the expertise passed down by our ancestors with the technological advancements of our generation, hoping that our current know-how will become tomorrow's tradition.

On September 12, 2012, the TV show "Des Racines et des Ailes" on FR3 visited our vineyard, resulting in this report that highlights the interactions between the river and the vineyard. Guided by Francis BLANCHET, you can discover or rediscover the history of the Pouilly-sur-Loire vineyard, both on the water and in the vineyards. Watch the report here:
